- Explore continues its expansion with significant growth plans for the UK, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
January 18 witnessed Explore Worldwide achieving an unparalleled milestone as the firm recorded its highest ever revenue in a single day, driven by the conclusion of a compelling 20% discount on small group tours. This remarkable performance underscores a phenomenal demand surge witnessed during the January sales peak that set new records for the company renowned for its adventurous offerings.
During this unprecedented period, the company’s overall trade sales observed an 11% increase, a clear indication of Explore’s thriving market presence. Notably, bookings made through Trailfinders soared by an extraordinary 99% compared to the same timeframe in the prior year, highlighting a significant consumer shift towards the company’s travel propositions.
The major contributor to the ascendancy in sales was the ‘Big Blue Sale,’ which succeeded a record-breaking financial year for Explore ending on October 31. This previous financial period had already marked the highest annual sales for the company. Such success in sales suggests a robust preference among travellers for longer haul destinations, with Japan and Madeira walking holidays emerging as top choices among consumers.
Furthermore, to continue fostering this upward trajectory, Explore has introduced two pivotal roles in the UK team while enhancing its strategies for growth across North America, Australia, and New Zealand. This expansion includes ambitious plans aimed at further strengthening the company’s foothold in these key international markets.
Managing Director, Michael Edwards, praised his team’s efficiency in managing the surge of inquiries and bookings, attributing it to the team’s commitment to delivering high customer satisfaction as reflected in their Platinum Feefo status. Agency sales manager, Pip Baines, echoed this sentiment, noting that the current momentum propels Explore into 2024 with optimism, supported by ambitious plans and forthcoming opportunities.
Explore Worldwide’s notable sales increase and strategic expansions mark a significant milestone in its successful trajectory.
