EasyJet has announced a substantial expansion to its winter 2024-25 schedule, introducing 33 new routes from the UK. This move is set to offer passengers increased travel options at competitive prices.
The new routes will connect major UK airports with a variety of international destinations, further enhancing EasyJet’s short-haul European network. From winter sun destinations to cultural city breaks, EasyJet’s latest offerings are tailored to meet diverse traveller needs.
New Destinations Include Norway and France
For the first time, EasyJet will introduce flights to Tromso in Norway, operating twice weekly from London Gatwick starting November 11, Manchester from November 19, and Bristol from December 5. Fares are priced from £78.99, making this scenic Arctic destination more accessible to UK travellers.
Additionally, Strasbourg in France will become a regular destination for EasyJet. With flights commencing from Gatwick thrice weekly starting November 11, passengers can look forward to fares starting at £46.99, offering an affordable entry point to explore this historic city.
Expanded Routes from Birmingham and Liverpool
Birmingham Airport will see the addition of five year-round routes starting this winter. New destinations include Prague and Marrakech, with flights launching on November 13 and December 1, respectively. Winter routes to Reykjavik begin on December 3, while flights to Krakow and Innsbruck will start on December 15.
Liverpool Airport’s winter schedule includes five new routes. Travellers can fly thrice weekly to Prague from October 28, once a week to Fuerteventura from February 19, 2025, and twice weekly to Marrakech, Malta, and Berlin starting on various dates.
Enhancing Glasgow and Belfast Connections
Glasgow passengers will benefit from three new winter-sun destinations. Flights to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are set to begin on October 27 and 30, respectively. Additionally, flights to Marrakech will start from November 11.
EasyJet is also boosting year-round connectivity from Glasgow to Prague, launching on November 7, along with a new route from Edinburgh to Agadir starting November 6, with initial fares from £38.99.
Belfast will gain additional connectivity with twice-weekly flights to Fuerteventura, Prague, and Marrakech, beginning from late October and early November.
Luton and Manchester Expand Flight Options
Luton Airport’s offerings will include three new routes. Flights will start to Athens thrice weekly and Basel four times a week from November 7, with unique bi-weekly flights to Djerba in Tunisia commencing on November 11.
Manchester is not left behind, with a connection to Zurich through four weekly flights beginning November 4, and twice-weekly services to Akureyri in Iceland starting November 12. A second Djerba route will be added on November 11, with fares from £43.13.
Bristol and Newcastle’s New Services
Bristol Airport is set to offer two new destinations within the winter 2024-25 schedule. There will be thrice-weekly flights to Agadir beginning October 27 and twice-weekly flights to Istanbul starting November 4.
Meanwhile, a new year-round service from Newcastle to Paris will operate six days a week from October 27, providing a cost-effective travel option with fares starting from £26.99.
In early 2025, additional routes from Leeds-Bradford to Geneva and Newcastle to Lyon will be available, catering to the ski holiday market.
Expanding Holiday Packages Portfolio
EasyJet is not only extending its flight network but also significantly enhancing its range of package holidays. This includes a seven-night all-inclusive stay at the Valeria Dar Atlas Resort in Marrakech, costing from £430 with flights included from Birmingham on December 11.
Travellers can also enjoy a three-night B&B stay at the Athens One Smart Hotel from £265, with flights from Luton on December 5, underscoring EasyJet’s commitment to offering comprehensive value packages.
