Cunard is set to embark on a remarkable culinary journey in 2025 by partnering with acclaimed chef Nathan Outlaw. This collaboration will see Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen grace the decks of Queen Victoria, offering guests an exclusive gastronomic experience as they sail through the Mediterranean. During the four distinct sailings, each consisting of a five-course tasting menu, passengers will be treated to both signature dishes from Outlaw’s celebrated Cornwall establishment and new creations inspired by local market produce.
The inaugural event is scheduled for a 14-night itinerary, commencing in Barcelona and concluding in Civitavecchia (Rome). Nathan Outlaw himself will be on board for the first half of this voyage, personally overseeing the preparation of meals and interacting closely with guests. These cruises are designed not just for culinary indulgence, but also for culinary education, as Outlaw will present live cooking demonstrations and feature as an Insight Speaker for intimate discussions in the Royal Court Theatre.
The partnership follows a previous announcement regarding Cunard’s plans to host another tour featuring Michel Roux, thus underscoring its commitment to culinary excellence. According to Katie McAlister, Cunard’s president, “Nathan’s reputation for excellence and his mastery of seafood perfectly complement our commitment to delivering the finest in luxury travel.” McAlister expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to provide guests with such a distinguished dining experience at sea.
Nathan Outlaw has expressed keen anticipation for this adventure, noting the uniquely immersive aspect of pairing vibrant seafood dishes with stunning Mediterranean vistas. “Teaming up with Cunard is a really exciting opportunity and I can’t wait to get on board Queen Victoria to showcase the very best of Outlaw’s.” Outlaw aims to elevate the standard of luxury dining at sea, creating an unmatched experience for guests.
This venture stands as a testament to Cunard’s continued emphasis on innovative and high-quality guest experiences.
