In a strategic move, CroisiEurope has expanded its UK sales team by appointing Janine Sykes as the business development manager (BDM) for the north of England and Scotland. Set to start on 14 March, Sykes brings 25 years of invaluable experience within the travel industry. Her previous roles have seen her represent Norwegian Cruise Line, work with Virgin Trains East Coast (now operating as LNER), as well as engage in online marketing with Living Social (Escapes) and Unique Vacations UK, affiliated with Sandals Resorts.
Sykes’s responsibilities at CroisiEurope will include building and managing relationships with both new and existing trade and industry partners. By reporting to UK sales director John Fair, she will play a pivotal role in fortifying the company’s connections within the UK market. Her tasks are to align with the organisation’s strategy and core initiatives, leveraging her expertise to identify new opportunities for the business while supporting overall lead generation efforts.
