Trevornick Holiday Park located in Holywell Bay on Cornwall’s beautiful north coast has been named the AA Holiday Park of the year at the AA Caravan and Camping Awards.
The five-star holiday park is home to an impressive array of facilities such as a heated swimming pool, woodland adventure trails, two fishing lakes, two 18-hole golf courses (par 3 and pitch and putt) as well as mini golf and it boasts some of the most enviable views in the country.
The awards celebrated 12 holiday parks across the country, with teams of experts choosing the winners based on their quality and customer satisfaction.
Robert Hartley, Owner of Trevornick Holiday Park said “We are absolutely over the moon to be recognised as the best holiday park in the UK. What an achievement, it doesn’t get any better than this! This year marks our 61st year of business so this award is a fantastic way to celebrate – the team smashed it.”

Robert’s brother and Co-Owner Richard Hartley said “Over the years, we have added more and more things to-do at Trevornick so you don’t even need to leave the park – you could stay here for 7 days and never need to venture out. This is why guests love it and return year after year.”
The soft white sand and clear turquoise water of Holywell Bay is within walking distance and is arguably one of the most stunning spots in Cornwall. This National Trust beach is ideal for little ones as it has a soft meandering stream that’s made for endless days splashing around. It is also dog-friendly even in the height of summer and it has some of the best waves for surfing.
Back at the holiday park, there’s a large, outdoor heated swimming pool and splash zone with tipping buckets jets as well as a sauna, hot tub and spa. There is plenty to keep little ones busy including a kids’ club and a Wild Tribe activity club for little adventurers. Kids can also take part in craft activities and evening entertainment from discos to bingo. There is also the Bear Den – an indoor soft play area – and an on-site amusement arcade with games. The evening entertainment includes singers, magicians and comedians.

Outside there’s a football pitch, a playground with swings, slides and climbing ropes. The fully stocked fishing lake is also a popular spot. There is so much to do at Trevornick, it can be hard to decide what to do first. Other facilities include onsite shop, a laundrette, Wi-Fi and a hire shop where guests can rent surfboards and bodyboards.
During the summer season, this is foodie’s paradise with different food trucks most nights of the week offering Greek cuisine to waffles and stone baked pizza to homemade crumble. There is also an on-site restaurant called Woody’s that has stunning sea views from its outside terrace. If you would like to give yourself the night off from cooking, The Courtyard Takeaway offers delicious family favourites such as pizzas and fish and chips.

When it comes to staying, guests can choose from modern and contemporary static caravans that offer a home from home experience, well-spaced touring and camping pitches, Euro-style ready tents as well luxury lodges aptly named Gull Rocks Beach due to their prominent position overlooking Holywell Bay Beach and Gull Rocks. The holiday park is also home to three Cornish cottages and a Farm House that’s made for large family get togethers.
Out of season, you can enjoy staying in one of the cosy luxury lodges and experience the joy that is winter in Cornwall. Think quiet empty beaches, stormy seas and wellie clad walks all before returning to your lodge and jumping in your own private hot tub.
If you’re looking for a place to spend your holiday in 2025, you just found it. Four-night stays in a static caravan from £92 per night for six people. Pitches start from £33 per night based on two adults and two children.
