Classic Collection Holidays has announced the appointment of Ashleigh Raymond as its new regional sales manager. She will oversee operations in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Her start date is slated for March 11, where she will bring her expertise to the role and report to Leanne Edwards, Classic’s head of sales for the North.
Raymond’s career in the travel sector began in 2000, and she brings with her a wealth of experience from previous sales manager positions at both Virgin Holidays and Tui. More recently, she has been imparting her knowledge as a lecturer in travel and tourism at Newcastle College.
Leanne Edwards, speaking on the new appointment, said, “We are delighted to have Ashleigh join us. She comes with a breadth of relevant industry experience. We’re confident she’ll be a great addition to our team and will work extremely well with our trade partners in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the north of England.”
Ashleigh Raymond has expressed her anticipation in assuming her new responsibilities, stating that after her time in academia, she is eager to bring a fresh perspective to her role. Her enthusiasm is particularly focused on reconnecting with agents to enhance sales for the company’s well-respected brands, Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays.
Raymond takes over from Emma Rodgers, marking a transition after Rodgers departed in December to join A-Rosa River Cruises. Raymond’s new position is poised to continue fostering strong alliances and bolster Classic’s presence in her region.
Ashleigh Raymond’s appointment marks a strategic enhancement for Classic Collection Holidays in pivotal UK regions.
