This decision aligns with the firm’s ongoing commitment to enhance its legal capabilities and offer superior service to clients.
A significant addition to the real estate team is Alex Mathias, an associate with substantial expertise in commercial real estate, particularly in real estate finance. Alex’s skill set will be instrumental in handling investment and development finance matters for lenders, predominantly high street and challenger banks. Another key hire, James Watson, joins the real estate team, bringing over 13 years of experience in residential conveyancing to support investor clients and enhance the firm’s residential property services.

The real estate team welcomes Chloe Lazenby, and Qasim Ali adds to the expertise in the Court of Protection team.
In addition to bolstering operational capacity through experienced hires, Clarion has also emphasised nurturing future talent by expanding its trainee programme. The introduction of new trainees such as Alicia Pursnani in the corporate team, alongside Max Holton and Niamh Darren in the real estate and construction teams, underscores the firm’s commitment to professional growth and development.
The central operations team has also been fortified with Johnny Wong joining as the front of house and Jenna Hale as the account management assistant. These roles are pivotal in ensuring the firm’s internal functions run smoothly and efficiently.
