Celestyal has unveiled plans to significantly expand its trade capabilities in 2024.
- The firm is set to double its agency sales team, bringing in new key positions.
- An innovative online agent portal will launch to streamline access to resources.
- Enhanced support systems, including a dedicated phone line, will aid trade partners.
- These initiatives align with Celestyal’s broader fleet refresh and customer service improvements.
Celestyal, a notable player in the cruise industry, is actively gearing up to enhance its trade operations in the year 2024. Part of this major upgrade involves doubling the current trade team, a strategic move that underscores the company’s commitment to supporting its trade partners. The expansion includes hiring a new trade marketing manager and three trade support executives, who will bring fresh expertise and focus to the organisation’s trade activities.
The newly appointed team members will report directly to Anna Gregori, Vice President of Brand and Customer Journey, and Jo Reid, the Country Manager for Celestyal in the UK. This level of structured oversight is anticipated to improve both internal coordination and external efficacy in supporting the firm’s trade partners.
In conjunction with the team expansion, Celestyal is introducing a comprehensive agent portal by mid-December. This portal, accessible through their website, aims to consolidate all trade marketing materials, campaign details, and incentive information in one place. By doing so, Celestyal seeks to empower its agents with the tools necessary to capitalise on burgeoning opportunities within the cruise sector.
Further augmenting this digital initiative, Celestyal plans to iterate enhancements throughout 2024, including a refreshed online agent training platform known as the Celestyal Stars. Such developments are expected to not only benefit internal stakeholders but also extend significant advantages to travel agents, enabling them to better serve their clients.
Additionally, in preparation for the peak booking period, Celestyal will implement a dedicated trade support phone line. This service is designed to provide immediate and reliable assistance to trade partners, enhancing their ability to deliver high-quality service to consumers. Janet Parton, VP of Business Development, expressed that these improvements are critical, noting that agent partners are essential for the company’s success: “Agent partners are critical to the success of the business. It’s vital that alongside the fleet refresh, and investment into the customer offering, we also invest in trade support, so agents can capitalise on the wealth of opportunities we have available.”
Celestyal’s strategic initiatives in trade expansion are poised to substantially uplift partnership capabilities and service quality in the cruise industry.
