Celestyal has expanded its Arabian Gulf operations by 30% with the introduction of new winter itineraries, marking a significant strategic move.
- The new cruise ship, Celestyal Discovery, will commence winter itineraries in the Arabian Gulf from 2025, alongside the existing Celestyal Journey.
- The shift of Celestyal Discovery to the Arabian Gulf cancels its previously planned Three Continents itinerary, affecting six departures.
- Celestyal is actively addressing the demands of its clientele, providing reimbursements and alternatives for those affected by itinerary changes.
- With added itineraries for 2025 and increased guest demand, Celestyal aspires to dominate the Arabian Gulf cruise market.
In a bold strategic manoeuvre, Celestyal is enhancing its presence in the Arabian Gulf by deploying the Celestyal Discovery for a series of winter sun itineraries, beginning in 2025. This expansion is part of a 30% increase in capacity, demonstrating the company’s ambition to establish itself as a leading cruise specialist in the region. The move also complements the operations of Celestyal Journey, which will soon embark on the inaugural seven-night Desert Days cruise.
The new arrangements have necessitated the cancellation of the Celestyal Discovery’s previously scheduled Three Continents itinerary. Passengers booked on any of the six affected sailings have been duly informed, with options for full reimbursement or alternative cruise options made available, ensuring customer satisfaction remains a priority.
Celestyal Discovery will conduct alternating itineraries in the Arabian Gulf from November through March, featuring a three-night Iconic Arabia cruise departing from Abu Dhabi and stopping at destinations such as Doha and Sir Bani Yas Island. These cruises are competitively priced starting at £249 per person. Additionally, a four-night version begins in Abu Dhabi, heading towards ports including Fujairah, Muscat, and Khasab, with prices from £309 per person. Customers can opt to combine these for a comprehensive seven-night Gulf Icons voyage from £569 per person.
Such proactive measures reflect Celestyal’s commitment to meeting the growing demand among travellers, as evidenced by the high return intention rate of 86% among past guests. This commitment is also mirrored in Celestyal’s operational adjustments, which now include an expanded set of itineraries for 2025 in response to burgeoning demand and positive feedback from travellers. As Lee Haslett, Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, states, the company is leveraging its expertise and customer trust to become the “go-to” specialist for the Arabian Gulf.
Celestyal’s strategic expansion into the Arabian Gulf underscores its commitment to customer satisfaction and market leadership.
