Caddick Construction has been awarded a substantial £12 million contract by Staffordshire Pension Fund to construct a state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot distribution warehouse at Vernon Park in Wolverhampton. This project, an integral component of Caddick’s expansive Midlands portfolio, is set to commence this month. It reflects the company’s strategic growth in the industrial and logistics sectors.
The new facility will not only cater to manufacturing, storage, and distribution needs but will also incorporate significant infrastructure enhancements. These include the creation of access roads, hardstanding areas, car parking, cycle storage, and comprehensive landscaping around the site at Junction 1 of the M54. Such developments are poised to facilitate operational efficiency and ease of access, crucial for logistical operations.
Further, Caddick’s construction plans for the warehouse include sophisticated installations, such as loading doors, dock leveller equipment, fire escape staircases, lifts, and ancillary spaces. The infrastructure will support a range of business operations, providing both functionality and safety.
