Betfred, a prominent bookmaker, has significantly enhanced its ‘Nifty 50’ numbers game by launching a purpose-built studio accompanied by live presenters. The studio, which is situated at the company’s headquarters in Birchwood, Warrington, is part of a broader refurbishment initiative aimed at modernising Betfred’s facilities.
The ‘Nifty 50’ game is a fixed odds numbers game that promises a jackpot of up to £5 million, available across five daily draws. This relaunch is marked by the introduction of two new presenters, Joshua Littlehales and Grace Constantinou, who are set to engage with the audience in a highly immersive gaming experience.
Joshua Littlehales, known for his work with Tameside Radio and LADbible, expressed his excitement about the new setup, stating, “The new studio looks amazing, and I feel impressed each time I step inside. I feel excited to call it my professional home.” His enthusiasm is echoed by Grace Constantinou, a media and performance graduate from Salford University, who added, “I saw the studio when it was dust and walls and now to see it completed it’s very impressive.”
The initiative to revamp the studio was spearheaded by Betfred’s visionary leader, Fred Done, who remarked, “The whole idea behind Nifty 50 is for customers to win big for small stakes, and to now promote it with a purpose-built studio and live presenters I am delighted.” This investment underscores Betfred’s commitment to providing a superior gaming experience.
Paul Sudlow, renowned for his work with ITV’s Euro 2024 studio in Berlin and the Rugby Union World Cup in 2023, was commissioned as the production designer for the new studio. Additional technical support was provided by Whitelight, responsible for the screens and lights, and Monkey Scene, who managed the set construction. This collaborative effort has resulted in a state-of-the-art facility that promises to enhance the overall appeal of the ‘Nifty 50’ draws.
The ‘Nifty 50’ draw is made accessible to a wide audience, being screened live five times daily in Betfred’s shops, online platforms, and its dedicated YouTube channel, BetfredLotto. This multi-channel distribution ensures that the game reaches a broad and diverse audience, further solidifying its position in the market.
Betfred’s relaunch of the ‘Nifty 50’ from a new studio marks a significant step in enhancing customer engagement.
