Building services engineer Tate Consulting has recently promoted Aaron Stevenson to the role of director within its rapidly expanding Belfast office. This strategic move is a reflection of the firm’s continued growth and success in securing significant projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Stevenson, who joined the company as an associate in late 2021, has played a crucial role in establishing the Belfast office, which coincided with the Yorkshire-headquartered company’s strategic expansion into the region. Under his leadership, the office team has grown to ten members, and this is only the beginning of the expansion plan.
In addition to leading the team, Stevenson oversees the delivery of projects while managing the office’s finances, policies, and recruitment processes. His prior experience includes nearly 13 years at Mott MacDonald in Belfast, bringing valuable expertise to his new role.
The firm’s recent success in securing contracts for large-scale residential projects in key locations such as London, Brentford, Southampton, Manchester, Leeds, and York indicates its strong market position. Overall, these projects amount to over 3,000 homes, highlighting Tate Consulting’s capacity to handle substantial developments.
Stevenson stated, “Our growth to date in Belfast has outstripped all our expectations and we’ve already completed a wide range of significant projects throughout the UK and Ireland.” Such projects demonstrate the office’s enhanced capability and reach, including their work on a 30-storey apartment block at Canary Wharf known as Vetro.
Managing Director Shane Tate acknowledged Stevenson’s contribution, noting, “Aaron has been instrumental in us quickly establishing a strong foothold in Belfast.” This recognition further underscores the significance of Stevenson’s leadership in driving the office forward.
Tate Consulting’s strategic expansion and Stevenson’s promotion mark a promising future for their Belfast operations.
