Paul Wills has been appointed to the newly created role of quality manager at Beard, a construction contracting company eager to innovate its approaches. Bringing a wealth of experience from his previous role at Bowmer & Kirkland, where he served as a regional quality manager since March 2023, Wills is poised to make a significant impact at Beard. His career also includes notable stints at ISG and a 14-year tenure with Midas Group.
Overseeing the quality processes across all five Beard offices, located in Swindon, Bristol, Oxford, Guildford, and Southampton, Wills aims to enhance construction practices and minimise defects. He advocates for a proactive approach to quality management, focusing on continuity throughout the build process to preemptively address issues.
Wills has articulated his mission: “My role focuses on being proactive in our approach to managing quality and mitigating defects, rather than reactively and retrospectively responding. I am responsible for bringing continuity across Beard’s approach to quality in every element of the build process.” With this vision, Wills is set to support Beard colleagues and subcontractors in a collaborative effort to refine processes company-wide.
