In a decisive move to bolster its Midlands team, Barnsdales, a leading property consultancy and chartered surveying firm, has welcomed two seasoned professionals to its ranks. This expansion aligns with the company’s strategic growth initiatives, which include the establishment of its first London office, under the leadership of former RICS President, Graham Chase.
Tim Richardson, with a rich history of over 30 years in the industry, steps into his role as Director. Known for his adeptness in commercial property valuations, Tim’s responsibilities will span investment property assessments, loan security valuations, and private valuations across various sectors, including industrial, distribution, office, and retail spaces. His credentials include membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Diploma in Arbitration, underscoring his comprehensive expertise.
“I am thrilled to join Barnsdales and contribute my experience to such a dynamic firm. Barnsdales’ ambition and established reputation in the commercial sector make it a great fit for my skills, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success,” Richardson announced with enthusiasm.
Joining him is Chris Beale, who assumes the position of Associate Director. With 25 years of experience post-qualification, Beale specialises in residential and mixed-use property valuations. His prior engagements include working with Legal & General and e.surv chartered surveyors. Beale is particularly focused on portfolio assessments and Help To Buy equity loan valuations, bringing a nuanced understanding of the market’s dynamic needs.
Expressing his excitement, Beale remarked, “I am excited to advance my career with Barnsdales. The firm’s hands-on approach and balance of office-based and on-site work align perfectly with my professional preferences. The new Derby office is an ideal base for engaging with a diverse range of properties.”
Jason Barnsdale, Group Managing Director at Barnsdales, expressed optimistic views about these appointments, stating that the extensive experience of Tim and Chris enhances the company’s already robust expertise across industrial, warehouse, commercial, and residential sectors. Against a backdrop of market optimism, these appointments underline Barnsdales’ strategic positioning within the industry.
These strategic appointments and the recent establishment of the Derby office, housed within Cubo shared office space in Derby’s Cathedral quarter, indicate Barnsdales’ dedication to expanding their network of property professionals. With existing offices in major locations such as Doncaster, Sheffield, Bristol, Cirencester, Manchester, Nottingham, Lincoln, and London, the consultancy is set to further assert its influence across the UK property market.
The addition of Tim Richardson and Chris Beale embodies Barnsdales’ commitment to strategic growth and enhanced service offerings.
