In a strategic move to expand Barnsley’s housing stock, Avant Homes has secured planning permission for the construction of Smithy Wood Gate, a multi-tenure residential development in Dodworth. Positioned on Calver Lane, the project is valued at £41.9 million and aims to enrich the area’s housing diversity.
The Smithy Wood Gate development will encompass 179 homes, designed to cater to a wide demographic. This includes a selection of one, two, three, and four-bedroom houses, ensuring options are available for individuals, families, and those looking to downsize.
