The Arizona Technology Council has hired new employees in both its Phoenix and Tucson offices, the council said.
Lauren Witte is now serving as the Council´s marketing and communications manager while Linda Surovick has assumed the role of finance and administration director. Both are based at the Council´s headquarters in Phoenix.
Representing the Southern Arizona region, Alison Boelts now serves as the Council´s operations and events manager in Tucson.
Prior to joining the Council, Witte held the position of brand manager for Scottsdale-based real estate development firm Deco Communities.
Surovick joins the Council after serving 23 years as president and founder of AHNE, a boutique association management company focused on technology, industry best practices and innovation for small- to medium-size associations.
Boelts, a native Tucsonan, has served the community for many years as a marketing and event expert working for nonprofit organizations and locally owned companies in advertising and finance.
The Arizona Technology Council is Arizona´s trade association for science and technology companies. Recognized as having a diverse professional business community, Council members work towards furthering the advancement of technology in Arizona through leadership, education, legislation and social action.
