Andrea Caulfield-Smith has been named the new head of global business travel for Advantage, commencing her tenure on April 15. This appointment comes as Guy Snelgar shifts back to his consultancy business after serving since June 2022. His exit will be followed by a hand-over period to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Ms. Caulfield-Smith, who is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the role.
She offers an extensive background with companies such as American Express, easyJet, and Carlson Wagon-Lit, and most recently, she worked with Visa as the director of B2B global travel partnerships. Advantage believes her deep-seated expertise in the global business travel sector will support their ambitious growth plans. Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive at Advantage, highlighted that Caulfield-Smith’s experience is ‘second to none’ and anticipates her being a strong addition to the team, warmly received by Advantage members.
