Radical Forge has appointed Alison Lacy as their new Chief Operating Officer, marking a significant addition to the Middlesbrough-based gaming studio’s leadership. With a rich background in leading positions at prominent firms, Lacy is expected to bring a wealth of experience and strategic insight to her new role.
Alison Lacy joins Radical Forge after a notable tenure at Avalanche Studios Group in Liverpool, where she held the position of Location Manager for four years. Prior to that, she accumulated valuable industry experience over six years at Bentley Motors, culminating in the role of Director Brand Lifestyle. Additionally, she contributed her expertise as a Senior Producer at Sony’s Evolution Studios.
Aligned with the company’s forward momentum, Lacy’s arrival is timely, following Radical Forge’s recent acquisition of a £2.6m investment from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF). This influx of capital is set to catalyse the studio’s development projects, including the anticipated launch of ‘Southfield,’ a physics-based farming game.
Lacy expressed her eagerness to contribute to Radical Forge’s dynamic environment, stating, “I’m so excited to be joining Radical Forge.
