Robert Ogg’s distinguished career encompasses leadership roles in leading infrastructure projects across the UK. His previous position as the managing director of Scottish infrastructure works for Morgan Sindall and his leadership in frameworks and projects for Balfour Beatty showcase his comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Most recently, before joining Akela, Ogg served as the UK national frameworks director at Robertson Group for five years. His role there involved utilising his knowledge of framework mechanisms and procurement routes, which he will now apply to identify new opportunities for Akela in the civil engineering, renewables, and energy sectors.
Ogg has played a pivotal role in major frameworks such as the BAA Scottish airports framework and has significantly contributed to the creation of the Scotland civil engineering framework in collaboration with the Scottish government.
