Air France is set to expand its African connections by introducing a new route to Kilimanjaro, known as the ‘Roof of Africa’. This service will commence as of November 18th, offering three flights weekly. The flights will be an extension of the existing service from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Zanzibar, thereby enhancing access to East Africa’s travel destinations.
Passengers from the United Kingdom will benefit from seamless connections through Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, and Edinburgh airports. These transit points are strategically selected to maximise convenience, ensuring that travellers from these regions can easily access the new Kilimanjaro service. The Kilimanjaro flights will be operated by the Airbus A350-900, renowned for its efficiency and passenger comfort. The aircraft is configured with 34 seats in business class, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy, catering to varied customer preferences.
