Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AEROMEX) has announced it transported 1.650m passengers in January 2020, a 5.8% year-on-year decrease, the company said.
International passenger numbers decreased by 9.7%, while domestic passenger numbers decreased by 3.3%.
Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), decreased by 1.2%, year-on-year. Aeromexico´s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 0.7% year-on-year.
Aeromexico´s January load factor was 80.3%, a 1.5 p.p. decrease versus January 2019.
