AeroCentury Corp. (NYSE MKT: ACY) Board of Directors has named one of its directors, Evan Wallach, to the position of Chairman of the Board.
Evan Wallach, who has served as an independent director for nineteen years, was re-elected for a three-year term to the Board of Directors at the annual meeting of stockholders held today. Following the stockholder meeting, the Board then appointed Mr. Wallach to serve as Chairman of the Board, filling the vacancy following the passing away of Neal Crispin earlier this year.
Wallach currently is President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Airfinance Services, an aviation consulting business he founded in 1998 and returned to in June 2012.
AeroCentury is an aircraft operating lessor and finance company specializing in leasing regional aircraft and engines utilizing triple net leases. The Company´s aircraft and engines are leased to regional airlines and commercial users worldwide.
