The Advantage Travel Partnership is hosting its annual cruise conference aboard the Ambassador Cruise Line’s Ambience ship. This event, spanning three days from October 24th to 27th, will see attendees embark from London Tilbury and voyage to the vibrant city of Amsterdam.
This year’s cruise conference promises to be an enlightening experience with suppliers from the ocean, river, and expedition cruise sectors in attendance. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a series of business sessions and panel discussions, designed to provide insights and drive further growth within the cruise industry.
A significant aspect of the event will be discussions on how to encourage the next wave of cruisers. As highlighted by Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager for cruise, the objective is to propel growth within the sector by equipping delegates with innovative strategies.
Those registered for Advantage’s Latitude cruise community can avail themselves of a special rate, making the conference accessible at £75 when sharing a cabin and £150 for single occupancy. The aim is to afford attendees a firsthand experience of cruise offerings through this arrangement.
The conference’s locale, onboard a cruise ship, is intended to immerse delegates in the cruising experience, enabling them to better understand the offerings from the perspective of their clientele. The novel inclusion of departing from Tilbury provides an added layer of exposure to cruising from a UK port.
Louise Tansy, Divisional Sales Manager for Ambassador Cruise Line, expressed enthusiasm over the partnership with Advantage, emphasising the honour it is for Ambassador to host such a prestigious event. She also highlighted the growing popularity of no-fly cruising, which aligns with the rise in domestic departures.
Participants are not only set to benefit from the sessions but also to experience the exceptional service, cuisine, and entertainment aboard the Ambience, and explore Amsterdam’s unique charm. The conference is seen as a significant opportunity for delegates to broaden their horizons.
The conference signifies an important step towards fostering growth and innovation in the cruise industry.
