London-based brand accelerator Tomorrow Ltd is contemplating the sale of the designer streetwear brand A Cold Wall. This development comes merely months after Tomorrow Ltd acquired the brand from its founder, Samuel Ross, a noted figure in the fashion industry, recognised as a Drapers 30 Under 30 alumnus. Discussions with advisors at Interpath Advisory have been initiated to explore potential sale options.
In February, Tomorrow Ltd successfully acquired A Cold Wall for an undisclosed sum. The company, which has held a minority interest in the brand since 2017, is known for its role as a fashion accelerator and business development platform, investing in a number of emerging fashion labels. These include Machine-A, Coperni, Martine Rose, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, and Colville, demonstrating Tomorrow Ltd’s commitment to fostering innovative fashion brands.
A Cold Wall, established in 2015, has grown to become a staple in the fashion industry, with its products being stocked by renowned retailers such as Browns, Selfridges, End, Mr Porter, and Mytheresa. The brand’s foundations were significantly strengthened by the experience and expertise of its founder, Samuel Ross, who had previously honed his skills alongside iconic designer Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White and current Louis Vuitton creative director.
As the brand approaches its ninth anniversary, the transition to Tomorrow Ltd’s majority ownership was marked by a clear strategic direction. An A Cold Wall spokesperson communicated that the brand was entering its next phase with definite intentions and principles, focusing on innovation and material development while maintaining Ross’s full support. This pivotal moment in the brand’s timeline underscores its commitment to evolving its brand language under the guidance of its experienced core team.
A Cold Wall’s future trajectory remains closely tied to strategic decisions made by Tomorrow Ltd and its advisors.
