The Altrincham creative agency formerly known as Double D Creative has undergone a strategic rebranding to become Rise & Amplify. This transformation pulls heavily from the founders’ unique backgrounds, with Tom Dent and Tom Denton drawing inspiration from their formative years spent as DJs in Manchester. The duo’s shared passion for music and design has been crucial in shaping the agency’s renewed vision, which now seeks to integrate creativity with their foundational ethos.
Rise & Amplify enters a new era with an impressive portfolio that includes industry giants such as Kellogg’s, Pringles, Dunkin’, and PZ Cussons. This rebranding reflects the agency’s significant growth and specialisation in areas such as branding, packaging, retail activation, as well as web design and build, showing their adaptability and foresight in an ever-changing market landscape.
Co-founder and creative director, Tom Dent, explained the agency’s evolution: “Tom and I met working at a local newspaper group as graphic designers. Despite our similar names, we quickly realised we had common passions, including music. We both DJ-ed in Manchester, and it was there we decided to start our agency.” Dent emphasises that what began as a two-person venture has blossomed into a dynamic team of 13, each team member playing a crucial role in the agency’s achievements.
The agency is not solely focused on the talents of its founders, but rather, as Dan Denton articulates, it thrives on the collective expertise and creative input of its full team. Denton elaborates: “Design, music – it’s all one language, just different dialects. It’s the same us, just better looking, reimagined, realigned, and ready to roll. We’re evolving without losing our essence.” This sentiment encapsulates the agency’s commitment to innovation while maintaining their core values and partnerships.
By rebranding as Rise & Amplify, the agency strives to redefine the client experience, placing significant emphasis on fostering genuine partnerships. Denton further highlights, “Rise & Amplify puts experience first. Great design is more than just looks. Creating something truly memorable taps into emotions, stirs something and creates a connection – design that moves you.” This illustrates the agency’s commitment to telling compelling stories through design, highlighting the importance of creating designs that not only look appealing but also resonate on a deeper level.
Rise & Amplify’s rebranding marks a new chapter of creativity and partnership, staying true to their roots while evolving in design excellence.
