Travel Counsellors are gearing up for an enriching incentive journey to Australia, marking yet another milestone in their robust incentive programme.
With a record of 36 previous trips this year, the upcoming expedition promises to offer invaluable insights and experiences for the selected advisors.
Eight selected Travel Counsellors are set to embark on an 11-night journey through Australia, an endeavour organised in partnership with Tourism Australia, Southern World, and Qantas. They will explore iconic destinations such as Sydney, the Red Centre, and Brisbane. Each location offers unique experiences designed to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the region’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
The upcoming Australian trip is part of an ongoing incentive programme facilitated through Travel Counsellors’ in-house digital platform, Phenix. The programme is designed to reward exceptional performance among its community of homeworking travel advisors. Such trips not only act as a reward but also as educational opportunities, enhancing participants’ ability to provide informed travel advice to clients.
Travel Counsellors have been proactive in the organisation of 36 fam trips this year alone, with destinations including South Africa, Antigua, Singapore, Bali, and Corfu. These familiarisation trips serve as pivotal educational tools, equipping Counsellors with first-hand experience and insight into various travel destinations, thereby enabling them to offer authentic advice and recommendations to their clients.
Further plans for 2024 include trips to destinations such as India, Maldives, Mauritius, Vietnam, Costa Navarino in Greece, Morocco, and Grenada. Each of these locations is chosen with the strategic objective of broadening the advisors’ global knowledge. The programme reflects Travel Counsellors’ commitment to cultivating a globally aware community of travel experts. A major global incentive is also in place for July to engage the entire Travel Counsellor community.
The success of these programmes is largely attributed to collaborations with esteemed partners like Tourism Australia and Qantas. Their support is pivotal in crafting comprehensive travel experiences that are both rewarding and enlightening for participants. Such partnerships highlight the interconnected nature of the travel industry and the shared goal of promoting global travel.
According to Global Sales Director Jim Eastwood, celebrating success is a core value for the organisation. These trips are a testament to the commitment Travel Counsellors have towards recognising the hard work and dedication of their advisors. Mr Eastwood emphasises the role of these trips in boosting morale and fostering a sense of achievement within the community.
This Australian venture underscores Travel Counsellors’ commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
With numerous trips lined up, the organisation continues to set a high bar in the travel advisory field.
