Lavi Industries has announced it is working to develop evacuation-safe queues for LAX Terminal 7 to improve the safety of the airport, the company said.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and Police Department identified a need to improve the safety of LAX Airport, with a focus on passenger queues.
Lavi Industries is working with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and several major airlines, to develop a new queue to create a better passenger flow and increased safety in the event of emergency egress.
Lavi´s safety solution has been installed in Terminal 7 and portions of Terminal 2, and is currently in planning for full deployment at the airport.
