With 15 years of experience in the Fintech sector, including his current role as Director of Klarna and his previous experiences at HSBC and General Electric in UK, US and Europe, Cadoni joins Plannix ahead of the 2025 funding round of investments which aims to position the platform as a leader in the WealthTech sector.
Plannix, the first independent financial advisory platform registered with the OCF (Organism of Financial Advisors), born in San Francisco in 2022 and with HQ in Milan, Italy, announces the appointment of Martino Cadoni as Strategic Advisor.
Currently Director at Klarna, the Swedish global leader company in ‘buy now, pay later’ payments, which has filed for its IPO in the United States, Cadoni joins Plannix and brings 15 years of experience in corporate finance, along with a proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and M&A for numerous global companies. At Klarna, he played a key role in securing over $800 million in equity fundraising and led a $520 million deal that resulted in the sale of Klarna Checkout. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at HSBC and General Electric in London, the United States, and across several European countries, including Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
In his new role, Cadoni will focus on driving Plannix’s strategic growth initiatives, refining its financial strategy, and preparing the company for its 2025 funding round. His expertise will also support Plannix in seeking strategic partnerships and new investments, positioning the fintech hub as a pioneer in the WealthTech sector.
