National sales manager Lynsey Jones has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Sales and Brand at Balkan Holidays. This transition marks a significant step in the company’s strategic restructuring, promising a more comprehensive approach to their sales and brand management initiatives.
In her new position, Lynsey Jones will be responsible for overseeing both trade and direct sales channels. Her role is designed to ensure a focused and streamlined approach to sales and marketing efforts, reflecting Balkan Holidays’ commitment to integrating innovative strategies within the industry. “I am excited about growing both channels and to be working with our new team in both the UK and Bulgaria,” said Jones, highlighting her enthusiasm for the challenges ahead.
The organisational changes don’t stop there. Two new regional sales managers are set to be confirmed next month as part of the company’s expansion efforts. Notably, Natasha Smith will transition to a role focusing on supporting homeworkers, demonstrating a key strategic focus on decentralised working roles within the sales structure.
Emiliyan Stoyanov, who previously worked with the reservations team, will join as a sales and marketing associate, collaborating closely with Lynsey Jones. This collaboration aims at leveraging Stoyanov’s expertise to further bolster the company’s sales strategies.
Jones is keen to introduce technology aimed at training agents using artificial intelligence, an initiative that underscores her forward-thinking approach. Additionally, new media opportunities are being explored to educate customers on the diverse offerings of the tour operator’s six destinations, enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.
With Lynsey Jones at the helm, Balkan Holidays is poised for a reinvigorated approach to sales and brand management, promising substantial growth and innovation.
