The Guinness Partnership is proactively seeking regional firms to undertake a variety of essential construction and maintenance tasks. These include not only traditional construction activities but also modern installations such as solar panels, fire-alarm systems, cladding, and sprinkler systems. Additional work involves upgrading central-heating systems, radiators, boilers, and heat pumps, addressing the growing demand for energy-efficient housing solutions.
The project is strategically divided into five regional lots, ensuring targeted investments and localised employment. Lot one, with a substantial £320m budget, targets around 20,000 properties in Greater Manchester and the North West. This presents a significant opportunity for contractors in these areas to engage in impactful projects.
Lot two, valued at £155m, covers 11,000 properties across Yorkshire, Humberside, and the East Midlands, indicating a robust investment in these regions. The Home Counties are the focus of lot three, where 9,000 properties are earmarked for an investment of £110m.
Lot four encompasses the South East, coastal areas, and Greater London, where £260m will be devoted to improving 19,000 properties.
