JWP Solicitors has expanded its reach within West Yorkshire by opening a new office on Grattan Road in Bradford, marking its seventh location in the region. The intention behind this expansion is to provide enhanced access to legal services for residents of Bradford and its environs. This strategic move aligns with the firm’s commitment to offering comprehensive legal services which began in 2000, building expertise across several disciplines, including family and children law, wills and probate, and criminal defence.
The new Bradford office will offer both in-person consultations and remote legal services, ensuring flexibility and convenience for clients. Additionally, 24-hour emergency contact is maintained for cases requiring urgent legal assistance in areas such as family, domestic violence, and criminal defence. The aim is to make expert legal advice and representation easily accessible to the Bradford community.
Directors Lois Monks and Damien Dobson lead the new office, bringing significant expertise to the team. Lois Monks, who started her legal career at JWP as a trainee in 2012 and rose to the position of director in 2021, has extensive experience in public law proceedings. Her focus on representing children and families across various courts reflects her dedication to public service.
Damien Dobson, a director since 2021, has been with JWP since 2014 and contributes his specialised knowledge in child care, adult care, and mental health law. As an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel, he frequently handles complex cases, advocating for children, parents, and grandparents in both family and higher courts. His leadership role in Bradford underscores JWP’s commitment to addressing intricate legal challenges with proficiency.
Both directors have expressed enthusiasm about the new office’s potential to integrate within the local community. Damien Dobson highlighted the office’s prime location, just a short walk from the Magistrates’ Court and city transport links, as a valuable asset in serving clients effectively. “The new office sits prominently in the centre of Bradford, offering us a chance to expand into a new area of West Yorkshire,” he stated, also mentioning new team members joining to advance the office’s capabilities.
Lois Monks echoed similar sentiments, emphasising JWP’s ongoing dedication to West Yorkshire’s legal landscape. She noted the firm’s aspirations to become a vital part of Bradford’s community, reinforcing the firm’s regional commitment.
