The APC’s 30th anniversary was marked by a noteworthy awards ceremony aimed at celebrating the remarkable achievements of both individuals and depot members within the network. This gathering brought together representatives from over 100 companies as well as the national hub at the All Depot Meeting. In light of ongoing business challenges, the awards served to demonstrate APC’s unwavering dedication to the SME community, fostering partnerships, and collaborative efforts across its extensive network.
Team C Express Logistics earned the title of National Depot of the Year, a testament to its superior service quality and substantial sales growth. The company has not only made significant investments in its operations but also expanded its facilities, tripling its site to an impressive 100,000 square feet.
In addition, seven UK depots were acknowledged for their exceptional delivery performance and outstanding customer service. Among these, Direct Express Parcels, Huddersfield Express, and Streetwise Couriers were recognised for setting high standards in the industry.
The ceremony also bestowed special recognition awards, including the coveted ‘Spirit of the Network’ accolade. This year, the award went to Rob Creegan at Swift Despatch, who was acknowledged for his heroic effort in assisting a consumer experiencing a cardiac arrest during a delivery.
