This contract, which began in 2021 and can be extended for an additional year, epitomises the strong working relationship between the two companies. It underscores both parties’ commitment to advancing service reliability and operational safety, delivered predominantly through Construct IT’s proprietary fleet solutions.
Amarat Gill, Construct IT’s Operations Director, remarked on the successful partnership, stating: “Our intention after our initial three-year contract award was to grow our partnership and demonstrate the benefits Construct IT could provide to Wienerberger and their customers, through a reliable and safe service, delivered primarily using an own fleet solution.” Gill emphasised the strategic progression from initial operations in Sandown to the recent inclusion of the Teesport depot, now extending support to nearly all Wienerberger’s factory and port locations across the nation.
Over the past three years, both companies have collaborated extensively, sharing mutual benefits and best practices. This commitment to excellence has been recognised with nominations for two partnership awards: the Motor Transport and Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
