AG Wilson Civil Engineering, a prominent contractor in Northern Ireland, has reinforced its operational capacity by incorporating three additional 24-tonne Sany excavators into its existing fleet. This strategic acquisition highlights the company’s commitment to leveraging modern machinery to meet project demands efficiently.
Previously, the company integrated several Sany models, including five 8-tonne SY80U excavators, a 16-tonne compact wheeled model, and two SY155U machines, underscoring a pattern of investing in Chinese-manufactured construction equipment. The recent procurement will bolster AG Wilson’s machinery capabilities as they prepare to embark on a significant pipeline project slated to commence in Scotland.
The company’s decision to further its investment in Sany equipment is facilitated by Sleator Plant, its dealer. The acquisition of these three SY215C models is a testament to AG Wilson’s ongoing relationship with Sleator Plant, which dates back to December 2021 when the contractor purchased its inaugural Sany excavator. The collaborative dynamic between the two entities ensures that AG Wilson benefits from cutting-edge technology and reliable machinery.
AG Wilson is not only focusing on its immediate needs but is also planning for future growth. A further order includes a 40-tonne SY390H excavator and two SY75C machines, which will eventually increase their Sany equipment inventory to 16 units. This expansion is indicative of the company’s strategic planning and forethought in scaling operations to tackle more demanding and complex projects efficiently.
Sleator Plant’s general manager, Aaron McCaul, expressed satisfaction with AG Wilson’s decision to continue their patronage, highlighting the favourable specifications and extended warranty provided by Sany as key factors in the contractor’s choice. McCaul noted, “We’re delighted that the team at AG Wilson have decided to continue to invest in the Sany product.” The enduring partnership and trust between AG Wilson and Sleator Plant play a pivotal role in facilitating these substantial acquisitions.
AG Wilson Civil Engineering’s strategic expansion with Sany excavators underscores its commitment to operational excellence.
