Tui’s latest cruise offering, the Tui Al Horeya, is prepared to embark on its inaugural journey on the iconic Nile River this November 7. This marks Tui’s bold expansion beyond European waterways, venturing into North Africa for the first time. The ship promises a unique blend of luxury and tradition, with state-of-the-art facilities that celebrate the cultural opulence of the region.
The top deck of the Tui Al Horeya is a hybrid marvel, serving as both a sunlit paradise during the day and an elegant al fresco dining venue at night. It’s equipped with a swimming pool and two hot tubs, designed to offer tranquility and indulgence to its 145 passengers. This space is meticulously planned to provide both relaxation and an authentic dining experience under the stars.
Food enthusiasts can indulge in exquisite locally inspired dishes at Felucca, an intimate dining space that operates by reservation only. Serving only 30 guests each evening, the menu boasts delights such as shish veal kebab, boneless chicken, and beef kofta, accompanied by rice. Meanwhile, the main restaurant, Lazeeza — meaning ‘delicious’ — offers a comprehensive menu catered to all tastes. It also hosts a gala dinner featuring a sumptuous seven-course Egyptian meal, ensuring an immersive culinary journey for all onboard.
Beyond dining, guests are treated to a variety of entertainment options within the Observatory area. This venue hosts traditional performances, lively quizzes, musical shows, and film screenings, crafting a vibrant atmosphere every night. Furthermore, a dedicated wellness area provides a serene escape with facilities including a massage room and an exercise area complete with a treadmill and cycling machine.
Katy Berzins, the head of river cruises, emphasised, “We have focused on Tui Al Horeya having quality venues, with flexibility in mind for all our customers.” She highlighted the diverse dining options from the intimate Felucca to the grand Lazeeza, underscoring Tui’s commitment to delivering a seamless and memorable experience. The confluence of Tui’s superior service and the charming allure of the Nile is poised to offer guests an unparalleled journey through the heart of Egypt.
Tui Al Horeya is set to redefine river cruising in Egypt with its fusion of luxury and cultural immersion.
