Oceania Cruises has announced an innovative approach to improving the guest experience with the launch of its new ‘value promise’, named Simply More. This comprehensive package is designed to offer travellers an array of complimentary services and amenities, raising the standard of luxury cruising. Effective from 1st July for all new bookings, guests embarking on cruises starting from 1st October 2023 will benefit from these enhancements. The Simply More initiative is a strategic effort to meet traveller demands for greater simplicity, choice, and value in cruising options, as articulated by Oceania Cruises’ president, Frank Del Rio.
Among the notable features of this package is the inclusion of complimentary roundtrip airfare and airport transfers, which provide significant convenience and cost savings for guests. Furthermore, Simply More includes free shore excursions, enabling passengers to explore various destinations more fully. The credit available for these excursions varies by the duration of the voyage, offering up to $1,600 per stateroom depending on the length of the journey, thus highlighting the flexibility and breadth of choice available to guests.
The package also incorporates a free beverage package which is accessible during lunch and dinner. This package includes vintage Champagnes, premium wines, and international beers, catering to diverse palates and enhancing the dining experience aboard. Frank Del Rio emphasised that this change is part of Oceania’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional value and convenience, noting that for two decades, the organisation has continuously evolved in response to the desires of their clientele and partners.
