- The programme extends to include lesser-visited islands, aiming for one of the most diverse offerings in the industry.
Holland America Line is amplifying its offerings for the 2024/2025 Caribbean season by launching three novel voyages spanning from 14 to 21 days. These itineraries are strategically designed to offer travellers more comprehensive and engrossing travel experiences, enabling visits to multiple islands within a single cruise.
Boston emerges as a new departure point, complementing Fort Lauderdale, Florida, thus broadening embarkation options for travellers. Additionally, the reintroduction of calls at Bermuda enriches the itineraries, promising a more varied exploration of the Caribbean region for cruise enthusiasts.
Operating from October 2024 through March 2025, these itineraries span five to 21 days, covering the eastern, western, and southern Caribbean regions. The majority commence from Fort Lauderdale, with two originating from Boston, enhancing accessibility for many.
A notable portion of these cruises will highlight Half Moon Cay, the cruise line’s exclusive private island in the Bahamas, a destination that consistently enriches the travel experience with its unique offerings.
Select itineraries feature evening departures from Puerto Rico, Curaçao, St. Maarten, and Aruba, granting visitors extended time in port and the chance to indulge in local nightlife, thereby integrating a more holistic travel experience.
President of Holland America Line, Gus Antorcha, articulated the company’s direction, stating, ‘Holland America Line is meeting the desire of our guests who want more immersive experiences.’ The diverse and extendable itineraries, some combining up to 35 days, reflect this ambition, taking guests to less frequently visited islands.
Earlier in March, the cruise line also detailed an agent ship visit programme, inviting agents aboard the Rotterdam, Zuiderdam, and Nieuw Statendam. Visits are scheduled at ports in the UK and Ireland, including notable locations such as Dover, South Queensferry, Cobh, Belfast, and Liverpool, running until October.
Holland America Line’s refreshed offerings underscore its drive for diversity and immersion in its Caribbean cruise experiences.
