Following the conclusion of these trials, the ship has returned to its shipyard in Rijeka, Croatia, where it will undergo final preparations. These include finishing touches that will ready the vessel for its inaugural journey, the ‘Incredible Iberian Discovery’ cruise, set to commence on 13 April, journeying from Lisbon to Barcelona.
In June, the Scenic Eclipse II will be ceremonially named in Malaga, celebrating its readiness for service. The ship promises an ambitious itinerary, visiting over 50 countries across all seven continents throughout 2023 and 2024, demonstrating Scenic’s expansive vision for global exploration.
