Disney Cruise Line has introduced an enticing opportunity for travel agents, offering them a chance to win a spot on a Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Treasure. This competition, rolled out through the Magic Ahoy! app, aims to engage agents by requiring them to complete a series of 20 challenges and participate in a quiz, all designed to test their knowledge and skills.
In order to be eligible to participate, agents must reach at least level 3 within the app. Each challenge completed allows participants to earn points, which can be tracked via a live leaderboard. This leaderboard remains active throughout the 12-day competition period, highlighting the ongoing standings of participants and adding a competitive edge to the event.
Agents have until 19 June 2024 to rise to the top 15 positions on the leaderboard. Those who succeed will be awarded an assortment of prizes. The premier prize is a Caribbean cruise on the Disney Treasure, scheduled for December 2024. The second to fifth-place finishers will enjoy a three-night European cruise aboard Disney Fantasy, taking them to destinations such as Zeebrugge. Meanwhile, those ranking sixth to fifteenth will receive either a £250 VEX voucher or a €250 Oneforall gift card.
To accumulate the necessary Mickey Stamps for the competition, agents are required to log summer 2025 bookings between 17 May and 30 September 2025. Each booking secured during this timeframe yields five stamps, contributing significantly to their overall standings.
According to Torey Kings-Hodkin, the Trade Sales and Marketing Director for Disney Destinations International, the competition is not just about rewards but also about educating agents on the new sailings and the wider Disney portfolio. She stated, “We want our trade partners to feel excited and incentivised by the summer 2025 Disney Fantasy sailings.”
The Disney Cruise Line competition provides a dynamic platform for agents to enhance their knowledge and potentially win exciting prizes.
