Scrivin Logistics, a Bristol-based company, has been notably impressed with its new acquisitions from Krone, leading to an immediate follow-up order. This decision comes as part of the firm’s strategic fleet expansion to accommodate growing market demands. The latest additions include two Krone Profi Liner trailers, equipped with innovative features tailored to enhance load security and operational efficiency.
Central to the Krone trailers’ appeal is the Multi Lock side rave system, a sophisticated solution designed to significantly reduce the risk of load detachment during transit. This feature is particularly advantageous for Scrivin Logistics, given the variety of goods it transports. These range from event and conference arcade machines to high-value aircraft components. With such diversity in cargo, securing loads efficiently is a paramount concern for the company.
Director and founder Simon Scrivin remarked on the necessity of having trailers that offer both versatility and reliability, especially for operations involving sensitive and high-value loads primarily transported across mainland Europe. The Multi Lock system’s numerous strapping points, notably up to 126 on each side, provide extensive options to secure varying load sizes and shapes. Each point can handle a load of up to two tonnes, adding to the system’s robust capacity.
Further embellishing the trailers’ utility are features such as a sliding roof, tail lifts, twin toolboxes, and plank storage, all of which contribute to their functionality and appeal. The interior design includes a 30mm thick waterproofed, phenolic-coated plywood floor, enhancing durability and protecting against environmental factors.
Simon Scrivin praised the build quality of Krone trailers, indicating a marked preference over their previous manufacturers, citing them as meeting the European specification standards essential for their operational needs. Subsequently, the company has expanded its fleet further with an additional box trailer and another liner with a tail lift, alongside a second-hand 2018 model that has proven to be robust and issue-free.
Scrivin Logistics exemplifies strategic fleet enhancement, demonstrating allegiance to Krone’s high-quality trailers.
