- Participation requires booking cruises within a specified window, with extra entries available via online events.
P&O Cruises has unveiled an ambitious initiative designed to reward travel agents, offering 100 lucky professionals the chance to embark on a seven-night exploration aboard Iona. This substantial trade incentive is considered the largest ever hosted by the cruise line, reflecting P&O’s strong commitment to its trade partners.
The sailings, part of the Shine Rewards Club, will see winners set sail on two exciting journeys. The first voyage, scheduled for 7 September 2024, will take agents through the breathtaking landscapes of the Norwegian fjords. The second sailing, set for 2 November 2024, promises a vibrant itinerary exploring several bustling northern European cities.
While aboard Iona, participants will not only enjoy luxury and leisure but will also benefit from immersive experiences and interactive training sessions. These opportunities aim to equip agents with comprehensive knowledge of the ship’s facilities, thus enhancing their expertise in selling P&O Cruises effectively.
To enter this enticing competition, travel agents must register their interest via the Shine Rewards Club website and accumulate entries by securing as many bookings as possible from 8 April to 20 May 2024. Additionally, agents have opportunities to earn bonus entries through participating in P&O Cruises’ virtual events, such as the Facebook Live session on 24 April and the Homeworker Happy Hour on 14 May.
Ruth Venn, P&O Cruises’ sales director, expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “We are incredibly excited to launch the Shine at Sea programme as part of our Shine Rewards Club – we can’t wait to give 100 travel agents the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in our world of cruising onboard Iona.” Venn highlighted that these firsthand experiences are vital for building agents’ confidence and expertise in selling cruises to their clients.
The Shine at Sea programme exemplifies P&O’s dedication to engaging and empowering travel agents through experiential learning.
