This event provides participants with an immersive, four-night training programme on the luxurious Oasis of the Seas, scheduled to sail from Barcelona to Rome from the 5th to the 9th of May.
Attendees are offered an opportunity to delve into customised training sessions conducted in six languages, designed to deliver comprehensive insights into the Royal Caribbean offerings. These sessions include diverse interactive learning experiences such as role-playing exercises and quizzes, enabling agents to grasp the intricacies of the cruise line’s services and amenities.
The 2024 Seminar at Sea marks a significant milestone as it coincides with the European debut of Oasis of the Seas. Throughout the event, Royal Caribbean will showcase the ship’s flagship features, which include a thrilling onboard waterpark, the lively Spotlight Karaoke bar, and a captivating Broadway-style performance of ‘Cats.’
In an official statement, Ben Bouldin, Royal Caribbean International’s vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, highlighted the transformative potential of this event. Bouldin stated, “Gaining first-hand experience and insight into the value of a holiday that truly has something for everyone and any occasion is an incredible sales tool, and coupling this with the in-depth education they’ll receive on board, the Seminar at Sea will set them up for success in crafting the best holidays for their clients.”
In addition to the Seminar at Sea, Royal Caribbean will continue to support travel agents with various initiatives scheduled for 2024 and beyond, including further training events, Café Royal digital drop-in sessions, and competitions accessible via the line’s rewards and learning platform.
