MSC Cruises is poised to enhance its guest experience with the introduction of MSC World America, a ship that is set to reinvigorate its dining and entertainment offerings. Slated for its maiden voyage from Miami in April 2025, the ship will feature two pioneering venue concepts designed specifically for the US market: the All-Stars Sports Bar and The Loft, a multipurpose entertainment space. These venues promise to offer guests a blend of authentic atmosphere and entertainment, aimed at elevating the traditional cruising experience.
The All-Stars Sports Bar will recreate a genuine game-day environment with American favourites and interactive bar games, catering to sports enthusiasts and casual diners alike. This concept reflects a growing trend towards thematic dining experiences within the cruise industry, catering distinctly to the tastes and preferences of a dynamic American audience.
In addition to these new ventures, MSC World America will incorporate acclaimed venues from its predecessor, MSC World Europa. Noteworthy establishments include the Elixir Mixology Bar known for its creative cocktail concoctions, the Masters of the Seas – a British-style pub, and The Gin Project, which celebrates craft distilleries.
Furthermore, passengers can indulge at the Coffee Emporium and the upgraded Sweet Temptations, alongside the decadent Jean Phillippe Chocolat & Café. These additions are designed to offer diverse culinary experiences, ensuring every guest finds something to delight their palate.
A standout feature of the MSC World America is its innovative design layout comprising seven distinctive districts. This novel approach allows guests to curate their own unique vacation experience, choosing from a range of activities and ambiances that cater to families, couples, and solo travellers alike.
Bernhard Stacher, MSC Cruises’ senior vice-president of shipboard hospitality operations, highlighted their commitment to offering exclusive experiences on board, stating that the new lounges and enhanced drink menus, featuring upscale cocktails and American brews, are set to redefine maritime hospitality.
MSC World America’s upcoming debut marks a significant enhancement in MSC Cruises’ commitment to a diversified and captivating guest experience.
