Classic Package Holidays has announced a significant expansion of its portfolio by adding more than 1,000 hotels across 11 new destinations. This move is intended to enhance its standing in the travel industry as a market-leading B2B-only proposition. New long-haul options such as the Maldives and Thailand now complement existing offerings, while Cape Verde joins the mid-haul category. Furthermore, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, and Montenegro have been integrated into the short-haul lineup, broadening choices for travellers.
Additionally, the operator is now offering a range of city breaks to well-known European destinations including Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, and Prague. This strategic expansion is aimed at providing great value holidays to these exciting urban locations. Si Morris-Green, the director of agency sales, highlighted the continual evaluation of their offerings through agent feedback, emphasising the importance of these new additions during peak seasons.
Morris-Green pointed out the high demand from trade partners for destinations in the Indian Ocean, particularly the Maldives, where the brand is introducing holiday options across more than 30 island resorts. Cape Verde and Thailand also stand out as appealing choices due to their current under-representation in the B2B market. Croatian, Italian, and Montenegrin destinations have seen immediate success, a testament to the company’s adaptable flight booking capabilities from any airport.
Promotional pricing has already been announced, with seven-night stays at Bandos Maldives available from £1,546 per person and a week at Front Village in Phuket, Thailand, from £968 per person. Croatia’s Zaton Holiday Resort offers weeks starting at £237 per person, while city breaks in Prague at Hotel Ibis Mala Strana Praha begin at £139 per person. Turkey remains a key player during peak times, thanks to strategic airline partnerships which facilitate flight, luggage, and transfer flexibility alongside competitive pricing.
Morris-Green expressed confidence that these new destinations will be well-received, aligning seamlessly with the operator’s growth strategy. The expansion into new locations not only fulfils the demand for diverse travel experiences but also strengthens the company’s position within the market.
This strategic expansion is poised to establish Classic Package Holidays as a dominant force in the B2B-only travel sector.
