Celestyal Cruises made a notable impression at the 2024 Globe Travel Awards by distributing five Tiffany pearl and diamond necklaces, each valued at nearly £1,000. This generous giveaway served as a celebration of the company’s announcement introducing new Persian Gulf voyages slated for winter 2024-25. Held as part of Celestyal’s sponsorship, the event featured comedian Rob Beckett as the star host, further adding to its significance.
The recipients of these exclusive jewellery pieces included prominent figures such as Denise Parkhouse of Tripse, Lindsay Haslehurst from Cruise118, Marco Macchieraldo from Paramount Cruises, Stephen Shaw of Travelsphere, and Katharina Peck, associated with The Travel Network Group. These individuals were recognised for their association with Celestyal through the travel industry network, adding prestige to their participation in the event.
Commencing on November 9, the Celestyal Journey introduces a new ‘Desert Days’ itinerary, operating from Doha, that will explore four countries and six ports of call previously unvisited by the cruise line. The itinerary includes destinations like Bahrain, Dubai, Khasab in Oman, Sir Bani Yas Island, and Abu Dhabi, utilising the 1,260-passenger ship for round-trip cruises. This venture will continue until January 18, 2025, followed by varying durations of this itinerary until April 2025.
In a bid to foster strong relationships with travel agents, Celestyal has launched a lucrative incentive programme. Bookings completed before February 29 are eligible for a £100 bonus, encouraging agents to promote and sell Celestyal’s voyages with more enthusiasm. This incentive stands as the most substantial offer Celestyal has extended to the UK market, reflecting their strategy to bolster agent support during a vital trading phase.
Janet Parton, Celestyal’s Vice-President of Business Development for the UK, Europe, and Australia, highlighted the importance of this initiative. She was quoted as saying, “This is the richest incentive we’ve ever offered to the UK market, and allows us to really reward our agent partners for supporting us through this critical trading period.” Her statement underscores Celestyal’s commitment to its partners and the substantial opportunities accompanying this launch.
Celestyal’s innovative promotional efforts highlight their commitment to growth and partnership in the travel industry.
