Celestyal Cruises has reported exceptional achievements in the UK market, with notable contributions to its sales figures. The company’s chief commercial officer, Lee Haslett, attributed this success to the diligent efforts of UK travel agents. He expressed his delight over the market’s performance, emphasising that it has substantially outperformed initial expectations.
Haslett, who joined Celestyal Cruises in February 2023, remarked on the vibrant dynamics within the UK market, stating that the progress witnessed in just one year has been ‘phenomenal’. He highlighted how UK agents have adeptly positioned the brand, significantly raising its profile within the region.
In response to the burgeoning demand, Celestyal Cruises is set to introduce new itineraries in the Persian Gulf. These new offerings come as the UK market demands more options, with over 50% of sales deriving from UK customers since their release. Haslett mentioned plans for itineraries in Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro, aiming to expand market share further.
The innovative itineraries are crafted to cater to specific interests, such as three to four-night cruise-and-stay packages in the Gulf, designed to provide comprehensive land and sea experiences without sea days. This allows travellers to explore multiple ports within the United Arab Emirates, adding value and variety to their travel experience.
Celestyal Cruises’ strategic focus on the UK market has proven exceedingly fruitful, signalling a promising future for growth.
