Oceania Cruises continues to redefine luxury cruising with the introduction of their newest vessel, the Allura. Recently floated out of dry dock in Italy, the Allura represents the latest addition to Oceania’s fleet, poised to elevate their ultra-premium cruise offering.
Plans are already in place for the Allura’s debut in the cruising world. Scheduled to enter service in the summer of 2025, the vessel is currently undergoing final construction phases at the prestigious Fincantieri shipyard near Genoa. This stage will see enhancements focused on the ship’s interior craftsmanship, including its opulent suites, inviting lounges, and exquisite restaurant areas.
The Allura will initially grace the waters of the eastern Mediterranean. On July 18, 2025, it will set sail from Trieste for a six-day journey to Athens, signifying its maiden voyage. After its Mediterranean tour, the ship is set to cross the Atlantic, where it will explore the rich cultural landscapes of Canada and New England. Additional plans include a remarkable four-day voyage from New York City, ultimately repositioning to Miami for its winter itineraries in the Caribbean.
Oceania Cruises’ President, Frank Del Rio, expressed the significance of Allura’s development. He emphasised the float out ceremony as an essential milestone for Oceania Cruises and Fincantieri, marking it as a progression towards joining Oceania’s fleet.
