Riviera Travel has announced a significant 50% increase in its wave period sales compared to the previous year. This marked uptick is credited to intensified engagement with travel agents and a strategic focus on strengthening the trade team.
Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris are set to join Riviera’s sales team imminently, assuming roles as key account managers for Scotland and Ireland, and the UK and Ireland, respectively, positioning the company for continued growth in these regions.
Trading director Stuart Milan highlighted the strong performance of the river cruise sector, with itineraries such as The Blue Danube and The Douro, Porto, and Salamanca largely contributing to this sales surge. He remarked that the river cruise offerings are especially resonating with trade partners.
