The study highlights that 86% of participants intend to spend at least the same amount on cruises as in 2023, indicating a stable or growing financial commitment to cruising. This is coupled with the fact that nearly 90% of respondents plan to take a cruise this year, reflecting sustained interest in this mode of travel.
Of those surveyed, a notable 12% are considering solo travel, showcasing a rising trend in independent cruising. Meanwhile, 10% intend to travel with a larger group of friends, and another 10% with family, demonstrating diverse travel preferences among cruise-goers.
January has been identified as the preferred month for booking cruises, with over half of the respondents indicating their intention to finalise plans during this time.
