In a bid to enhance the capabilities of its members within the cruise sector, Advantage Travel Partnership has unveiled The Cruise Collection, an updated version of its previous cruise guide. The newly revamped magazine-style booklet is set to be distributed to 12,000 members, highlighting 25 prominent cruise lines, including well-known names such as Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and AmaWaterways.
The guide is specially designed to be unbranded, allowing Advantage members to personalise it according to their specific client base. This approach not only serves as a marketing asset but also as a valuable training tool, enabling agents to showcase their expertise in the ever-expanding cruise market.
Further extending its reach, a digital version of The Cruise Collection will be distributed through direct marketing emails, targeting an estimated audience of 50,000 customers. This strategy underscores the consortium’s commitment to empowering its members by providing comprehensive resources that support both consumer education and sales initiatives.
The launch of The Cruise Collection marks a significant venture aimed at capitalising on the flourishing cruise sector. Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager for Cruise at Advantage, emphasised the importance of this initiative by stating, “The Cruise Collection is a fantastic, dedicated sales tool for agents and an inspirational publication for consumers to be able to flick through our amazing array of cruise partners and discover what they have to offer.”
Peat further highlighted the strategic role of the guide in inspiring new customers to explore cruise options: “We are confident that our members will use our guide as a tool to inspire and introduce cruise as an option, particularly to those who have never sailed before.” This initiative is presented as the largest-ever version of the guide, reflecting the growing importance of strategic partnerships with cruise suppliers, which is crucial for securing commercial opportunities for members.
The Advantage Travel Partnership’s new cruise guide exemplifies a strategic move to empower its members and leverage the expanding cruise sector.
